Crests, numbers, names and sponsors: sublimation for coloured kit, embroidery for whites
Coloured cricket kit is fully sublimated, so the club crest, every sponsor, player names and squad numbers are printed into the polyester with the base colour; nothing is applied on top afterwards and nothing cracks or peels. The club sends a squad list and the studio places each player's details on the approved layout, with the back number sized to the competition rule the club supplies.
Whites are decorated the traditional way. The crest is embroidered on the chest using the multi-head machines at the ZipaSports factory in Sialkot, sponsor logos go on by heat transfer or embroidery, and where a league wants numbers or names on whites they are heat-transferred in a colour that shows against white or cream. Sweaters and slipovers take an embroidered crest and knitted colour trim; caps and sun hats take an embroidered crest on the front and, if the club wishes, a player number or initials at the back.

Home and away colourways matter less in cricket than in football, because both sides rarely need to change, but leagues with several clubs in similar colours may require a second coloured kit or a change of cap. Umpires need a colour that stands out from both teams and from the sightscreen, which is why umpire shirts are usually ordered in a solid, unrelated colour by the league rather than by a club.
