Catalogue, custom and blank: three ways to buy

Distributors buy from us in three ways, and most combine them within one order. The table sets out what each route involves and where it fits.

Sublimated designs are the exception to the blank route: the print is dyed into the polyester before the panels are sewn, so a sublimated jersey has to be decorated here. Repeat-order consistency: approved spec and retained patterns

A distributor's second order has to match the first, because your customers compare the two side by side. We handle this by treating your approved sample as the reference standard for every later run of that style.

When a style is approved we retain the graded pattern set, the locked size chart, the fabric specification (composition and GSM), the Pantone references, the sublimation print files and the digitised embroidery files. A reorder is cut from the same patterns and checked against the same measurement spec, so a size M made in spring measures the same as a size M made in autumn.

Shade tolerance between dye lots is the one variable a factory cannot remove entirely; we keep it within normal tolerance, and where a colour is critical we photograph the new batch beside the approved sample before shipment so you can see it. Any change you request, a longer sleeve, a new sponsor position, a heavier fleece, is written into a revised spec and approved before production, so the record of what a style is stays current. Mixed-category orders from one factory

One purchase order can cover several product categories, because the decoration, cutting and sewing lines for all of them sit in the same factory in Sialkot. Distributors typically combine sports teamwear for their club accounts, fitnesswear for gym and retail accounts, combat wear for martial-arts stockists, workwear for corporate customers and bags and accessories to complete a range.

Each design within the order is planned as its own production lot with its own fabric, decoration method and size breakdown. Mixed sizes within a design are standard. The categories run in parallel rather than one after the other, so a mixed order is not slower than a single-category order of similar size; the lead time is set by the largest lot.

The practical advantage is consolidated shipping: one commercial invoice, one packing list and one consignment by air or sea instead of several smaller shipments from different suppliers, each with its own clearance and its own courier charge.

Private-label packaging for resale

Garments for resale need to arrive shop-ready, and our labelling and packing department finishes them that way. Options include woven neck labels in your brand, printed size tags, hang tags with your artwork, and branded polybags or boxes; all are produced or applied in-house, described under labels, tags and packaging.

Packing follows whatever your warehouse or your customers need. Common instructions from distributors are one garment per polybag with a size sticker, size-ratio packs in cartons for stock, or pre-sorted cartons per end customer so a kit supplier can forward a club's order without repacking. Carton markings can show your company name, style code, size and quantity.

If you already have label stock, send it to us and we sew it in; otherwise we produce labels from your artwork. Either way, nothing on the finished garment identifies ZipaSports as the maker. A country-of-origin label reading "Made in Pakistan" is applied in the format you specify, since many import markets require it and customs officers look for it.

Export documents: sea freight or air

Every distributor shipment leaves Sialkot with a commercial invoice, a packing list and a certificate of origin, prepared by our export documentation office. These are the documents your customs broker or courier needs to clear the goods and assess duty.

Most distributors use air for the first order and for top-ups, then move volume lines to sea once a style is selling predictably. Samples for your sales reps

Sales reps sell from something they can hand over, so we build sample sets the same way we build production: a free digital mockup within 24 hours of receiving your artwork, then a physical sample in 5–7 days. Physical samples are charged at sample cost, and that cost is credited against your bulk order.

A rep set usually contains one of each style in a mid size, decorated with a demonstration design so it can be shown to several prospects, together with the size chart for the range. Some distributors order a small sample run of 20–25 pieces per style so that each regional rep carries a full set; lower quantities are possible on request.

Once your customer approves a design from the mockup, production can start without a further physical sample if the style has already been sampled. Pre-shipment photographs of the finished lot are available on request, and a video tour of the factory can be arranged for a customer who wants to see where the goods are made before committing.
