Who we supply as a custom sportswear supplier
A supplier relationship is different from a one-off purchase: the specification stays on file, the same colourway comes back season after season, and reorders skip the design stage. ZipaSports supplies six buyer groups on those terms from its factory in Sialkot, Pakistan.
- Clubs and teams buying home, away and training kit with names, numbers and sponsor logos, from amateur and Sunday league to university and corporate sides.
- Academies, schools, colleges and universities issuing PE kit, fixture kit and travel wear across several age groups.
- Gyms, studios, boxes and dojos stocking member merchandise and staff wear.
- Startup brands taking a first collection from 20–25 pieces per design; the route is set out at start your brand and for startups.
- Established sportswear brands and companies, which have no MOQ limit and buy to a production calendar.
- Distributors, wholesalers, kit suppliers and teamwear resellers, including promotional-merchandise companies supplying their own clients.
Event organisers, leagues and charities ordering tournament kit or fun-run tees buy on the same terms.
How a supply relationship works, stage by stage
The first order does the work; every order after it is faster because the specification is already agreed and stored.
| Stage | What happens | What goes on file |
|---|---|---|
| Brief | You send garment types, quantities with a size breakdown, destination, artwork and deadline | Contact, destination and deadline pattern |
| Free mockup | Digital mockup within 24 hours, unlimited revisions before approval, no obligation | Approved mockup and revision history |
| Sample | Physical sample in 5–7 days at sample cost, credited against the bulk order | Approved sample reference |
| First production order | Bulk in 15–25 business days after design approval | Fabric, GSM, cut, Pantone references, size specification |
| Reorder | Straight to production against the filed specification, no new mockup needed | Updated roster, names and numbers |
| Season plan | Delivery dates agreed in advance against your fixture or retail calendar | Repeat quantities and delivery windows |
The same sequence, with the production detail, is at how it works.
Reorders that match last season’s kit
The common failure in team kit supply is colour drift: the second batch does not match the first, and a squad ends up in two shades of the same shirt. We hold the approved artwork, the Pantone references and the graded size specification against your account, and reorders are printed from those files rather than from a fresh interpretation of your logo.
Sublimation helps here, because the colour is fixed in the print file rather than mixed by hand at each run. Minor shade variation between dye lots is normal in any textile production and sits within tolerance; a visible mismatch against the approved reference does not, and is handled under the guarantee below.
Top-up orders for new signings, late joiners or a second intake are possible on request below the usual minimum. If you are changing sponsor artwork mid-season, send the new file and the studio re-issues the mockup within 24 hours so the rest of the kit stays untouched. Colour matching is explained at Pantone colour matching.
Mixed sizes, names and numbers in one order
Minimum order is 20–25 pieces per design, with lower quantities possible on request and no MOQ limit for sportswear brands and companies. Sizes are mixed freely inside that minimum, which is what makes the number workable for a real squad.
One design can be built in men’s, women’s and youth cuts and run from adult XS–5XL, women’s XS–4XL and youth sizes in the same production order. Custom size charts are made where a school or club has its own measurements. A second colourway, a different sleeve length or a separate cut counts as a second design, so plan the kit list before counting minimums.
Player names, squad numbers and initials are printed as part of the sublimation rather than applied afterwards as a separate step. Send the roster as a spreadsheet with a size and a number against each name; the studio maps it to the size specification. Guidance on collecting that data is at how to collect team sizes, and cut differences at men’s, women’s and youth cuts explained.
Lead times, express and planning a season
Work backwards from the date the kit has to be in players’ hands, not forwards from your enquiry. The standard route and the express route below use the same factory but different scheduling.
| Milestone | Standard route | Express route |
|---|---|---|
| Digital mockup | Within 24 hours, free | Within 24 hours, free |
| Physical sample | 5–7 days, cost credited against bulk | Often skipped where a filed specification already exists |
| Production | 15–25 business days after design approval | 7–12 days, at additional cost |
| Delivery | 5–10 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS, or 3–6 weeks by sea | 5–10 days by courier |
| Typically used for | Pre-season kit, retail drops, distributor programmes | Tournaments, late joiners, replacement runs |
Clubs and academies with a fixed season start should place artwork before the pre-season peak; distributors buying repeat programmes agree delivery windows in advance. Detail at turnaround times.

Private label: supplying under your own brand
Resellers, kit suppliers and brand owners can take the same garments with nothing of ours on them. Private-label supply adds woven neck labels, printed size and care tags, hang tags, care instructions and branded polybags or boxes, all from 20–25 pieces per design.
This is the usual arrangement for a teamwear reseller who sells to local clubs under their own name, and for a distributor holding stock in-market. Buyer artwork is not resold or shown to other clients, and an NDA can be signed on request.
Category programmes are set out for each family, for example private-label fitnesswear, private-label combat wear and private-label sports teamwear, with bulk stock buying at wholesale sports teamwear and wholesale fitnesswear. The terminology is compared at OEM vs private label vs white label.
Supplier checklist: what to ask before you commit
Use this on any custom sportswear supplier, including us. A supplier that cannot answer in writing is a supplier you cannot plan a season around.
| Ask | Why it matters | Our answer |
|---|---|---|
| Are you the manufacturer? | A reseller cannot change a pattern or fix a fault at source | Own factory in Sialkot, Pakistan since 2005; see the factory |
| What is the minimum per design? | Decides whether one squad or one style is viable | 20–25 pieces per design; lower on request; no MOQ limit for brands |
| Is the design charged? | Design fees quietly raise the unit cost | Free digital mockup within 24 hours, unlimited revisions |
| How long from approval to delivery? | Season dates are fixed; production dates must fit them | 15–25 business days bulk, 7–12 express, plus 5–10 days courier |
| Will a reorder match? | Colour drift splits a squad across two batches | Artwork, Pantone references and size specification kept on file |
| What if it arrives wrong? | A verbal promise is not a policy | Written remake guarantee, see below |
| Which documents come with the goods? | Customs clearance stalls without them | Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin |
Quality Guarantee and made-to-order returns
Quality Guarantee: if any garment arrives with a manufacturing defect, we remake it free of charge — the remake goes into production within 3 days of your report.
Defects covered are print faults, stitching faults, a wrong size against the approved size specification, and the wrong garment or quantity against the approved order. Not covered: minor dye-lot shade variation, measurement tolerance within the size chart, sizing chosen wrongly by the buyer, change of mind and wear-and-tear. Made-to-order garments carry your own design and labels, so they cannot be returned because you changed your mind.
Claims take photos and an order reference on WhatsApp or by email within 7 days of delivery; we confirm within 24 hours in business hours and ship replacement pieces at no charge, or issue a credit if that suits you better. The written policy sits at quality guarantee.
To open a supply account, send your kit list and size breakdown; the studio returns a mockup within 24 hours. WhatsApp replies come within 2 hours in business hours, email within 24 hours, Monday to Saturday, 9:00 to 18:00 PKT.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does a custom sportswear supplier do?
A custom sportswear supplier manufactures and delivers kit to an agreed specification and holds that specification for repeat orders. ZipaSports does both from its own factory in Sialkot, Pakistan, so supply and manufacture are the same company.
Do you supply team kit to clubs in the UK, USA and Australia?
Yes. Kit is manufactured in Sialkot and shipped by DHL, FedEx or UPS in 5–10 days, or by sea in 3–6 weeks for bulk. Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin travel with every shipment.
What is the minimum order for a supply programme?
20–25 pieces per design, with lower quantities possible on request for sample runs and small teams, and no MOQ limit for sportswear brands and companies. Sizes and player names are mixed freely within one design.
Can we reorder the same kit next season?
Yes. The approved artwork, Pantone references and graded size specification stay on file, so a reorder goes straight into production without a new mockup. Only the roster of names, numbers and sizes needs updating.
Do you supply distributors, wholesalers and kit resellers?
Yes. Distributors, wholesalers, kit suppliers, teamwear resellers and promotional-merchandise companies buy repeat programmes under their own brand, with delivery windows agreed in advance against their retail or season calendar.
Can you supply kit under our own label?
Yes. Private-label supply includes woven neck labels, printed size and care tags, hang tags and branded polybags or boxes from 20–25 pieces per design, so nothing in the parcel carries the manufacturer’s name.
How quickly can a supplier get kit to us?
Express production takes 7–12 days at additional cost, plus 5–10 days by courier, once the mockup and size breakdown are approved. Standard production is 15–25 business days after design approval.
Can you supply mixed sizes and player names in one order?
Yes. One design can run across men’s, women’s and youth cuts from adult XS–5XL, women’s XS–4XL and youth sizes, and player names and numbers are printed as part of the sublimation rather than applied as a separate step.
Who pays import duty and VAT on a shipment?
Import duty and VAT are payable by the importer on arrival unless otherwise agreed. The courier normally clears customs using the commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin supplied with the goods.
What happens if the kit arrives faulty or the wrong size?
Send photos and your order reference within 7 days of delivery. A wrong size against the approved size specification, a print fault or a stitching fault is remade free of charge and shipped at no charge, or credited if you prefer.
