Every stitch through a PU-coated shell is a hole in the waterproof layer. Heat transfer and welded badges keep the coating intact, which is why we do not embroider these garments.
How should waterproof shells be cared for?
Rinse mud off with cold water, hang to dry fully before folding, and machine wash gently at 30°C without softener. Never iron directly on the coating, as heat will soften and mark the PU film.
