The waffle microfibre holds several times its weight in water and dries much faster than cotton terry, so the towel stays usable through a full round. The textured waffle face also grips dirt out of grooves better than flat terry.
How should the towels be washed?
Machine wash warm without fabric softener — softener coats microfibre and reduces absorbency — and tumble dry low or line dry. Colours stay fast because the dye is bonded into the fibre.
