From tech pack to graded pattern
Send a tech pack if you have one. The pattern room works from a flat sketch, points of measure with tolerances, base fabric and GSM, lining and gusset detail, trim list, stitch types, label placement and a size chart covering the age groups you sell to. Gaps are queried in one list before sampling, not discovered on the line.
If you have no tech pack, the free design service covers it. Send a logo, a sketch, a competition photograph or an existing garment you want matched, and the studio returns a digital mockup within 24 hours with unlimited free revisions before approval. Pattern making, grading and fabric cutting are computer-controlled, so the graded nest behind your first run is the file that produces the third. Decoration and embellishment on your own label
Decoration on dancewear is chosen against the base cloth and the way the piece moves. Dye sublimation is the workhorse: the dye bonds into polyester fibre, so an all-over print stretches with the garment and does not fade, crack or peel through a season of washing.
Over that, rhinestone and crystal work is applied by hand. Agree stone size, colour and density from a physical sample rather than a rendering, because coverage reads very differently under stage light, and decide whether the layout scales with the size block or repeats identically.
For cheer, tackle twill and appliqué gives the raised lettering the category expects, and embroidery handles studio crests on warm-ups and bags.
